At the heart of SunShine Care CNA we value the dignity and independence of every individual. Showing compassion for one another is a beautiful trait that is demonstrated daily. We have a desire to care for you in the comfort of your own home, providing the best personal care you require. We aim to serve you and your family where it matters most.
Hi, I’m Megan! For years, I have had the passion to care for the elderly. In high school I researched the duties of being a certified nurse assistance and gave a speech on the topic. Today I’m happy to share I am a CNA! I have been licensed for five years working continuous in hands on experience. I am CPR and first aid certified as well. Prior to this goal I worked as a home health aid accumulating twelve years experience. I wear several different hats as I am a wife of fourteen years, and a mom to three beautiful children. As I care for the elderly I strive to make them feel seen, heard, loved and valued. Giving them the dignity and respect they deserve, along with bring joy and light into their lives.

“Megan was such a blessing in helping care for my Mom in her stages of dementia. When I needed help I knew who to call. My Mom responded to Megan’s care and sincere concern. She has a gift for caring for elderly loved ones in need”
-Susan S.
"Megan did a wonderful job caring for an elderly woman in our church. She was very helpful, considerate and compassionate of her needs. She enjoyed caring for her and always did her best to help her in any way needed."

"Megan all her life has been an encourager. She would learn new things and show and help others. She has a cheery disposition and an uplifting attitude. In preparing Megan for caring for people that needed assistance, God In his perfect plan saw fit for Megan's father to be severely injured in an accident. The whole family had to learn many new things and equipment. The Lord provided an opportunity to use those skills learned through that family trial. A neighbor's wife had Alzheimers. He needed help more than a twice a week visit from a home health CNA. The husband wanted to keep her home as long as possible and not have her put in a nursing home. The lady would light up when Megan would communicate with her even in her last days when she couldn't talk, she seemed to respond when Megan talked to her. Megan helped in necessary tasks like bathing, dressing, transferring, feeding, reminding of meds etc...There were others Megan helped with too. It wasn't just this one that she had the privilege to care for, it was from babies to those in their senior years. Some people work only to get a paycheck, then you have others that truly love what they do, so the paycheck is like a bonus. Megan truly enjoys and loves caring for those that have trouble, caring or can't care for themselves."
